Sometimes an owner or management company may require their property to be stripped out independently of a refurbishment / fit out project; for example to allow their contractors to examine the stripped-out building without hidden issues and tender accurate refurbishment/fit-out quotes, helping to de-risk a project.
A 'stand-alone' strip out can also be used to qualify an empty property for zero-rating of business rates.
In these cases Umberslade will strip out as Principal Contractor, providing a complete strip out project management service with the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out safe, cost-effective strip out & internal demolition in compliance with CDM (Construction Design Management) regulations.
