Umberslade Business Services Ltd. was established in 1996 by Jeremy Emmett and Gabe Pettitt, taking its name from the Riding School where the company was initially based. Starting from a humble beginning of ‘2 men and a horsebox’, they carried out local waste clearance and office moves.
Today, Umberslade operates across the UK with teams specialising in soft strip out & internal demolition; employing over 90 staff with a £9m annual turnover, it has offices in Solihull and London.
The company expanded into Groundworks in 2007 and this division now works for some of the biggest construction firms in the Midlands.

I first worked with Jez and Gabe over 20 years ago, when we were all starting out in our construction careers. Ever since then if there is a strip out or a demolition job to do they are first on my list. A great company with a great ethos.
