Umberslade sends team to University

For the last few weeks one of our award-winning teams has been attending The University of Derby. This is not for them to study the classics at this esteemed academic institution, but rather to apply their very practical expertise at demolition and strip out of two lecture theatres! The project included removal of floor, ceiling and wall coverings as well as air conditioning ducting, while working with due consideration to nearby occupied areas.
Domino Commercial Interiors, the main contractor on this prestigious project, are refurbishing two of the University's major lecture theatres, plus reception areas, stairways and adjoining corridors. At completion Domino rated Umberslade's work as 'excellent'; in particular our speed of work (completing on schedule) and also overall tidiness.
The two beautifully modernised lecture theatres will be ready to accommodate the
University's students from the start of the new term.
